Gia Participant Terms of Service
Effective September 25, 2026. Version gia-terms-2026-09-25.
1. About these Terms
Scienza Health, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Scienza," "we," or "us"), operates Gia. These Terms cover your use of Gia's participant website, requested phone checks, and available check records. "You" means the participant using Gia for their own information.
You agree when you select the agreement control shown with these Terms. Browsing does not accept them. You may save or print a copy. If you do not agree, do not accept them or start a new check.
Agreeing does not place a call, authorize a charge, or give another person access to your record. Recording and processing consent, optional sharing permission, and any future payment authorization are separate choices.
2. Who may participate
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms.
Gia's participant service is intended for people in the United States. Controlled testing is limited to approved participants and available checks.
Use your own information and a phone number you are authorized to use. Answer accurately to the best of your knowledge. Do not sign in as another person or answer a check for them. Help with reading or a device does not itself authorize someone to accept consent or access records for you. Legal representatives need a separately supported process.
3. What Gia does—and its limits
Gia uses artificial intelligence to conduct automated phone conversations and help produce check records and results. Gia is not a human or a licensed healthcare professional. AI can misunderstand speech, miss information, and produce incorrect or incomplete responses or results. A check may not produce a usable result.
Gia's participant checks provide information. They do not diagnose or rule out a condition, provide treatment or psychotherapy, prescribe medication, or replace qualified healthcare. Using Gia alone does not create a clinician-patient relationship or an appointment. A result does not mean a clinician reviewed it unless the service expressly identifies that review.
Do not change medication, delay care, or rely on Gia to decide that you are safe. Discuss health concerns and results with a qualified healthcare professional. Gia is not continuously monitored and is not an emergency service. For a medical emergency in the United States, call 911.
Retaining checks does not promise comparisons, detection of changes, future features, or health outcomes. The service shows available features and result status. Gia is not health insurance.
4. Signing in, texts, and calls
Keep sign-in codes, links, and your signed-in device private. Sign out on shared devices. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access or no longer control your number. These precautions do not transfer our legal responsibilities to you.
A sign-in text request authorizes that text, not marketing or a phone check. Carrier message, data, and call charges may apply. Delivery and connectivity are not guaranteed.
Before a phone check, complete the separate consent steps and request the call. These Terms alone do not authorize future calls. You may decline a check, skip a question, or end a call. Ending a call may leave the check incomplete.
5. Your information and record over time
Gia maintains a longitudinal record of your checks. As explained in the separate recording and processing consent, this can include original call audio, separated participant speech, transcripts, answers, results, and check and permission records.
Stopping calls or participation does not automatically delete earlier records. Retention remains subject to applicable law, valid rights requests, and required destruction limits. You retain applicable access, correction, withdrawal, and deletion rights; retention permission is not irrevocable.
These Terms do not give us ownership of your health information or a general license to sell it, publish it, advertise with it, or train models on it. Retention alone does not authorize new research or reanalysis. Purposes and required permissions must be explained separately.
Service providers may support calls, hosting, transcription, and analysis as described in the applicable privacy notice and consent. Scienza retains its legal responsibilities.
The Gia Participant Privacy Policy explains data practices and rights. Acknowledging it does not replace a consent that must be obtained separately. The Security & trust note explains access. It is not another permission.
6. Sharing and other people
A family relationship, payment, or help with a device does not grant record access. Family access requires its own supported authorization. Sharing with a clinician or another recipient requires the applicable sharing process and permission, except where disclosure is otherwise required or permitted by law.
These Terms do not activate family access. Shared information may enter the recipient's records and may not be retrievable through Gia.
7. Charges and future offers
Accepting these Terms does not purchase a subscription, start automatic renewal, or authorize a charge.
Before a future paid offer, we must present its price, billing schedule, included services, renewal terms, and cancellation and refund terms, and obtain the required authorization. These Terms do not authorize future charges. Your legal payment and refund rights remain.
8. Permitted use and our materials
You may use Gia for your lawful, personal purposes and keep copies of records made available to you. Scienza and its licensors retain rights in Gia's software, branding, and service materials. You retain rights in your information and may lawfully share your records.
Do not impersonate others, obtain records without authority, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, or deliberately disrupt Gia. Do not use Gia to make employment, insurance, credit, or other eligibility decisions about another person.
Honest reviews, lawful complaints, reports to authorities, and legal rights remain protected. We do not require ownership of your reviews.
9. Availability and ending participation
Gia may be interrupted or unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free results, or suitability for a particular need. This does not exclude warranties, remedies, or responsibilities preserved by law.
You may stop using Gia at any time. Contact us for help ending access or making a record request. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or the end of controlled testing. Where lawful and practicable, we will explain restrictions. Your legal record rights remain.
10. Changes and legal rights
We identify revised Terms by date and version. When acceptance is required for a new check, we will present them for your agreement. Continued browsing alone does not accept a revision. Changes do not retroactively expand an earlier recording consent or sharing permission.
These Terms do not require arbitration, waive jury trial or class action, shorten a legal filing deadline, or cap liability. Applicable law determines rights and remedies. You may contact regulators or a court with jurisdiction without contacting us first.
If a provision cannot lawfully be enforced, the rest continues to the extent it can operate lawfully. A separately accepted consent or service agreement governs its stated subject. Nothing here overrides protections that cannot legally be waived.
